For those of you who have been looking for a pair of gold leather ballet flats for a long time now - you would think the perfect pair would be easy to find wouldn’t you, but still without any luck. So you could imagine how surprise I was to discover this gold ballet flats from the ever increasing selection of pre-order shoes by Kathryn Kerrigan. These one seems to fit all of my criteria (shimmering gold, buckle detail on toe and tiny bit of heel. Though I’m puzzled as to why the name ‘Patience’ has been given.

At $189, they might not be *quite* the perfect gold ballet flats, but if you are the type of shoe person that put quality before quantity, then you have until the 10th July 2009 by which to place your order. Ever since I came across these shoes months back, I was then and I am still now undecided as to whether I really like them or not. Looking at Chie Mihara ‘Coalho’ Heel reminds of an old fashioned shoe with a vintage flair in a positive way of course. A unique peep toes from Barefoot Tess featuring red contrast stitch, star embellishments on the side with 4 inch heel. Chie Mihara seems to have drawn inspiration from the 1920’s flapper chic era. Lace Up Canvas ‘Hommie’ Sneaker in Turquoise by Blowfish

Casual shoes doesn’t mean that they have to be boring, and these lace up canvas sneakers by Blowfish certainly aren’t. They also happen to come in three different colours turquoise, white and black. With the white being my favourite colour, I could easily pair up with jeans and a white t shirt for an ultra casual look for the weekend.

‘Hommie’ is flat, colourful and comfy looking, but still interesting and stylish with the bumper feature at the front and contrast stitching. Well for me at least, I would say these are the perfect example of a casual summer sneaker shoes.

Could they get any better? I think so because they are available in US Size 10 to 15 with generous width. Retail price price is $69 from Barefoot Tess.

This will lend a touch of elegance and sophistication to whatever you’re wearing. It has subtly snake-embossed leather upper with covered heel and cut out heel detail for an extra special look. The strap and cut out detail around the ankle is not ideal for anyone with ankles they don’t want to draw attention. Made from leather with 4 inch heel, it’s definitely a bargain piece for those cocktail parties, nights out with the girls or that last minute date. Available in teal croco, red croco and black leather. My heart seems to love the teal croco currently reduced from $75 to $39.99 which is available in US Size 5 to 12 including half sizes from Brandolino.

With all the fashion faux pas associated with all things Ugg-style, there’s no denying that this style of fluffie flip flop by Ugg Australia makes for a great, cosy pair of slippers. They’re warm, they’re comfortable, and given that you’ll be wearing them in the privacy of your own home or even keep a pair in your car for when you want a break from high heels.

Though they look nice, It might seen a bit pricey at $40 for a pair of fluffy slippers. But if you have weakness for all things Ugg you can get hold of a pair of either soft gold or sterling from Athleta in US Size 5 to 12.
