It would be safe to say that in general, wedding shoes have all looked very similar with the usual mid heel height, cream colour or off white.

How about a modern day bridal shoe with a bit of detailing? Here comes Paulette, part of the 2010 Spring and Summer collection from Gwyneth Shoes. It features knotted detail on the toe vamp and is also available in black colour too.

Retail price for Paulette is $98 and comes in US Sizes 6 to 14 on pre-order. In the ever increasing selections of alternative bridals shoes, this would be a good contender for the modern day bride.
