I have problems with fashion magazines offering boot style shoes as summer footwear. My understanding of summer shoes is when you expose your feet for fresh air whilst kicking thick tights and boots to the kerb. And if I was to vote for UGLY SHOE OF THE WEEK, these Hardwork Booties by Blowfish would be my first choice. They look somehow punkish with their button decoration on the outside. As tie-dye design is set to huge this summer, I guess it’s a good way of wearing such trend, if you can’t stand them on clothes.

The collar detail shows off the main beauty of these ankle booties, they’re so sleek on the feet. With all the spring and summer collection currently filling up the shelves, you might be thinking that it’s somehow too late to buy into the winter ankle boots as there’s not too much of winter left to wear them though (or I hope not anyway). How about this reason “it’s a good buy”, original price was 250 euros, a swooping 70% off reducing the price down to 75 euros. I love the folded over collar detail along with the high heel. Crinkle Ankle Boots with Side Bow
These ankle boots are on sale from a German online store, I think they are perfect for the winter, as they will work well more with casual outfits. The crinkle leather effect and the buckle straps makes them very smart. I like the fact that the bow straps are fairly restrained. These are €99, so if you like them, now is the time to buy them! Custom Made Flat Leather Ankle Boots in Olive and Kiwi Colour
These flat ankle boots from Selve are not only stunning given the usual and unique colour, but they’re prefect for the winter season for those looking to take a break from black coloured boots. Henny is a nice pair of dressy ankle boots and is not suited for everyday wear.
The colour contrast of olive and kiwi makes them very fashionable, the ankle tie allows for a more perfect fit and the collar cuff is so stylish.

Patent Round Toe Ankle Boot with Elastic Detail
Up to an extent, rounded toe shoes can look quite clumsy, but when shoes are designed properly it does make all the different between sexy and down right ugly.
These rounded patent ankle boots does look nice with the cut out detailing and the stretch features on both sides. Patent shoes are big this season and can be seen in anything from flats to boots.
I also guess that having the stretch features would be good news for ladies that I have problem with wider feet or slimmer than average feet and are unable to afford custom made fitted ankle boots. Peter Pan Italian Casual Ankle High Wedge Boots
These ankle high boots are not only cute but also stylish and very simple. For me it was love at first sight particularly due to the back button detailing. Apart from the dark biege suede featured there, you can also get them in black too.
