What I love about these shoes is the paint splash effect which makes it a fun shoe to wear for the summer. They look as if someone has gotten hold of a brush, tipped it into various pot of paints to come up with the multi coloured splash effect. I think it’s the silliness of the design that seems to appeal to me, you have to admit we all need a bit of silliness in our life.

The thought of paint on your £8 shoes wouldn’t be the thing of nightmares, as the deliberate effect like this seems to work. So what outfit would you wear with these? Well I would wear them with casual trousers, shorts, though I’m not so sure on wearing with them dress though it all depends on the style you are trying to achieve. For me, when it comes to trainer I’m prefer those that wouldn’t immediate scream trainers. That’s why if I was to buy trainers I prefer to go for the less chunky and more sleeker and appealing to the eyes. By the way who wants extra weights on their feet? Certainly not me. Though I’m somehow drawn to the retro appeal of these crinkle leisure shoes, judging from the picture, I wonder how long they would last. Yes it’s stylish and trendy I’m not quite sure if it’s sturdy. If you have bought these shoes, I would be very much interest to hear your wearing experience.

Indigo by Clark is one of the most unfeminine casual looking dress pump that I’m ever come across, but when it comes to comfort and long lasting summer everyday shoes, it certainly does tick those boxes for me. The overall appearance does have an old fashioned appeal about them and it’s leaning towards the resemblance of a dance which I think is the fault of the Cuban heel shape. It reminds me of my secondary school teacher’s shoes called ‘Miss Sensible’.

Apart from the red, other colours includes light brown, cafe brown and black. It features button details at the front with adjustable buckle. On sale at Zappos for $100, which might be a bad price to pay given the fact that it has received 18 positive reviews so far.

Casual shoes doesn’t mean that they have to be boring, and these lace up canvas sneakers by Blowfish certainly aren’t. They also happen to come in three different colours turquoise, white and black. With the white being my favourite colour, I could easily pair up with jeans and a white t shirt for an ultra casual look for the weekend.

‘Hommie’ is flat, colourful and comfy looking, but still interesting and stylish with the bumper feature at the front and contrast stitching. Well for me at least, I would say these are the perfect example of a casual summer sneaker shoes.

Could they get any better? I think so because they are available in US Size 10 to 15 with generous width. Retail price price is $69 from Barefoot Tess.
