Corso Como’s Ruffle and Bow Patent Flats - Shoes for Tall Women
For today’s casual Friday, I thought I bring in Corso Como Fargo Flat (Black Patent) which will be so ideal with your jeans and other casual wear attire. If you also have problem with your toe cleavage showing, these shoes by Corso Como is high enough.
What makes the flat so great is the simple bow detail with subtle ruffles. It’s a seriously useful, cute and stylish shoe with tailored feminine details. $139 at Barefoot Tess in US Sizes 10 to 13 including half sizes.
Totally Large Shoes Mini Wedge Flats - Large Size Womens Shoes
Flats are really the shoe of choice when comfort and style are concerned and Kassidy from Totally Large Shoes is no exception. The mini wedge heels means that they would work perfectly well with your casual wardrobe. Retail price is £64.99 in UK Sizes 8.5 to 11.
Pretty Ballerina in Croc Effect by Cinderella Shoes
There’s something about these multi coloured ballet flats that I find very appealing. The croc effect is very “in” this season but is also suitably muted that you can get away wearing them to the office. I reckon they would look great with jeans, or with skirts. They’re €39 in UK Sizes 10 and 12 at Cinderella Shoes, so you’d better snap them up before they sell out.
Animal Print Pony Hair ‘Ida’ Ballet Flats by Gwyneth Shoes
We know that animal print is back this season, it’s everywhere you look from the high street windows to glossy fashion magazines including myself who seems to have been talking about it forever. I spotted these pumps by Gwyneth and couldn’t help posting them because I love the lightness (colour) of the animal prints. They would work so well with indigo, grey or even black trousers.
Ida by Gwyneth would set you back $99, which is slightly pricey but you can’t underestimate a chic pair of flats, you’ll be wearing them all the time and you can’t really go wrong with ballet flats. Available in US Sizes 6 to 15.
Classic Flats in Blue Leather and Light Brown Suede
Though I could do without the pointed toe, overall these are a stylish pair of flats and the combination of blue leather and light brown suede works very well. The white stitch detailing is what makes these ballet flats to standout. Being ballet flats, they’re obviously suited to workdays and casual weekends; and best of all, they’re now €48.00 down from €96.00 at Swanky Italy.
Ruffles and Bows Animal Print Flats by Corso Como
Judging from what I have seen in various fashion magazines, animal print is a trend to watch out for this autumn season. So if you find animal inspired outfits very hard to digest, why not go easy on the animal print with a little on the feet like these Corso Como Fargo Flat (Leopard). High heel version of the same style would be a disaster.
If you have problem with your toe cleavage showing on flats, these seems to have the problem sorted with the suede tailored feminine details. I also love the fact that the prints are darker in colour. I wouldn’t recommend wearing them with other prints including other animal prints, but with jeans or neutral coloured skirts and dresses.
They’ll jazz things up and add a dressy touch to most things, priced at $139 they are available in US Size 10 to 13 from Barefoot Tess.
