Mules in Burnt Orange Colour by Jessica Bennett
Jessica Bennett Palmer Clog (Cuoio) $139 from Barefoot Tess.
Looking for some that bold footwear to complete your summer look? Coming all the way from sunny Brazil is this burnt orangey colour mules. The cut out wedge heel is the main attraction for me coupled with the contrast studs detailing on the sides.
They are hot hot hot with the flower and peep toes design and would go with anything from maxi dress to jeans to shorts or even with knee length dress as they lift your look in an instant.
I know the problems usually associated with wearing mules such as feeling insecure as if your feet are not secured or worried that they might slip off. Perhaps one way to cure this problem would be for you to practise walking in them at home. What do you think?
J Crew’s High Heel Buckled Sandals in Large Sizes
The actual colour of this high heel sandals in large sizes might not be in the line of traditional tone for summer footwear but there are many summer outfits that the slate colour would complement such as floaty clothing or skirt and blouse.
The slate colour makes a striking contrast against the very summery wooden heels and platforms. And the buckles gives the sandals a very distinctive look without looking like gladiator sandals. It’s a versatile footwear that would work with casual wear very nicely while holding their own just as well in a more formal setting.
On sale at J Crew for $175 in US Sizes 5 to 12.

Steve Madden ‘Tailor’ Flat - Large Shoes Women
Ooooh very affordable! Steve Madden Tailor Flat (Navy White) is on sale for $49. They are perfect if you are a flat lover and like the nautical trend so much that you don’t mind having them in footwear. They will look great with wide legged trousers.
Two Tone T-Bar Shoes from Ghigo Calzature - Large Size Women’s Shoes
Just from what I have seen in terms of summer footwear, it looks as if two-tone shoes are also very much on-trend this spring/summer season. The neutral tone of beige and coffee colour leather makes these perfect for dressing up a pair of jeans with a white t-shirt or with a cream summer dress. The low heel would also appeal to those who are much into sky rocketing heels.
Retail price is €120.
