Ruffled T Strap Sandal in Black by Gwyneth - Ruffle Embellishment Gone Too Far?

Errrrrrr! are the ruffles large enough, do you think? I’ve always adored feminine detailing such as ruffles on shoes as they have been popular this season among shoe designers, but these are taking it a bit too far even for me. I think if the ruffles were smaller, these could be beautiful. The over-sized embellishment would catch my eye with every step I took - then again, I guess that’s probably the point! These are at $98 from Gwyneth and have two horizontal straps with animal print insole, although they’re hidden when you have the sandals on.

Would you wear them, or do you think they’re a little OTT?
