Bargain Tuesday:3 Pairs of Shoes for the Price of 2

With the credit crunch weighing heavily on shoppers, an ebay store that sells large size shoes is in the middle of closure and is offering My Lovely Big Feet readers 3 Pairs of Shoes for the price of 2. Judging from the styles currently available, they are more of office type of shoes in UK Size 8 to 10.
There’s how it works, you pay for two shoes and choose another cheapest pair being the third shoe for free. After paying for the two shoes, simply choose the shoe you would like for free and then email the seller quoting this code MLBFEBAY in order to qualify.
With such an usual offer, this will sell out fast, as I have just bought some for my sister who is a UK Size 10 and sadly not for me as I wear UK Size 12. If you’ve got your eye on a pair of nice shoes to wear to work, this will be the first place to start. Checkout the brown court shoe with lace reduced from £88.99 to £44.49 or the black pointd toe reduced from £72.99 to £36.49
Pleated Mary Jane by Hush Puppies
I usually feature a lot of high heels and other impractical styles of footwear here at My Lovely Big Feet, therefore for a change, I thought it would be nice look into something a little more sensible.
Mere hearing Hush Puppies, you immediately think of comfort and sensible footwear, but I actually think these black and brown court shoes are quite OK as a work shoe for course. The rounded toe box makes them ideal for those with wide feet. Overall, these make a nice court shoe for those days when you really can’t stomach the thought of stilettos, but want something sensible. They’re £55 at Tall Girls.
Brown High Heel Court Shoes from Xlbootic
These lovely brown high heels seems a little bit too sensible for my taste but I must admit that they would make a nice work shoes with just a little bit of twist.
If you like this, they are on sale for €95 in Euro Size 42 to 45 from Xlbootic based in France.
Patent Leather Chocolate Brown Court Shoes by Amber and Jade
These rounded toe court shoes from Amber and Jade are available in patent brown and plain black leather. But it’s the patent brown that really caught my interest. I love the minimum fuss of the overall design.
If there’s anything to be said about Amber and Jade shoes, is the fact they design all of their shoes with the large feet women mind. All of their design features are implemented to flatter large feet.
Priced at £74.95,directly from Amber and Jade’s website. Available in UK Size 8 to 11. Currently all of their shoes are suited for average to narrower fit. If you have wide feet, you can sign up. For wide fittings, why not sign up for their Spring 2009 collections.
Brown Leather High Heel with Bow Detail
For ladies that happens to work in the office, wearing brown or black shoes all the time can become rather boring. So when opportunity present itself to wear beautiful brown shoes, I will grab them with both hands without thinking twice.
Not only does it feature chunky heel for better balancing, I like the distinctive white stitch detailing seen on the toe cap and vamp. I also like the feminine touch you get with the lace going thru the eyelet and the bow detailing. Reasonably priced at £49.99, available in UK Size 8 to 11 from Soles4U.
Low Heel Ruched Button Brown Leather Shoes
They’re sturdy, low heeled and is made of leather; good shoes for everyday use. I am tempted to call these boots though not quite boot like shoes. I love the ruched effect which looks rugged as it’s not neatly done but I feel that’s also part of the appeal of the shoes. I also like the semi square toe with the band across and positioning of the buttons though I’m not sure if they are mock or elasticated. The buttons somehow reminds me of Victorian shoes. These brown shoes are on sale for 69.90 Euro from an online store called Kipp Schuh and Mode, sadly they don’t ship outside Germany. Available sizes are Euro Size 43 to 45.
