No longer are ruffle designs limited to just clothes such as tuxedo, these days ruffles can also been seen on footwear ranging from high heels to sandals. And whilst I wouldn’t usually consider black sandals as part of my summer shoe wardrobe, this time around, I will make the occasional exception with these Chie Mihara sandals. Kathyrn Kerrigan Platform Heel Sandals
These simple platform sandals are as simple as it could get. The simplicity of these makes them an ideal footwear that one could wear to work and at the same time to after work events. It has a slim ankle strap around the front with criss cross design on the vamp and a moderate platform heel. Right now these sandals are available on pre order only from Kathryn Kerrigan’s websitefor $159 in US Size 39 to 45. They’re very wearable, would go with skirts, trousers and dresses.
Purple Flirt Espadrilles By Bettye Muller
Espadrilles becomes a popular footwear items during the warmer months, but if you are not blessed with height or prefer to be far away as possible from the pavement, then these purple prints by Bettye Muller could be the solution to your problem. With their soft feminine features of pink and yellow flowers printed on the purple fabric and the natural woven bow on the vamp, they’re pure understated chic.

Kathryn Kerrigan’s Toe Ring Graphite Wedge Sandals
These sandals aren’t the sort of style I would usually go for personally, though I think it offers something different in the world of summer sandals. The combination of criss cross feature with thong style and low heel wedge makes it different but not enough for me to love them.
I would have prefer Emylee if the heels where much higher and the back was open rather than closed. They are a great casual sandals and shimmering stops them from being too conservative. These sandals will look great with pretty summer dresses or shorts. They’re $179 from Kathryn Kerrigan, available in Euro Size 39 to 46.
Delman T Straps Buckle Sandals ‘Jab’
These would seem like ordinary sandals, but two things makes Delman’s sandals interesting. First are the heels, which looks like two heels sandwiched together and secondly is the buckle straps on the toe vamp that seems to have taken an unusual position of facing upwards as suppose to sideways.
Jab by Delman has been described as part of resort collection, which could work as an everyday shoe as well as an outing shoe if style of shoe appeals to you. These look great with crisp linens outfits, all thanks to the sleek and elegant design. They’re on sale at Barefoot Tess for $379 in US Size 11 to 13
Samanta Toe Ring Crystal Detail Sandals
It feels too early to start thinking of summery sandals, but given the current state of the economy every shoe lover out there are looking high quality summer footwear at a bargain price.
