The similarities between these Ghigo Platform Pump with Lace and Saura by Chie Mihara   vintage looking pumps were too much to ignore. The style of these shoes does look experimental.

Both of the shoes are two toned (grey and taupe), both rounded toe, both suede, both with shoe lace (with the same amount of straps no less) they’re almost a dead ringer for each other! Except the Ghigo ones comes with heel height measuring 3.5 inch with exposed platform heel costing 160 euros (comes in sizes 31 to 34 and 42 to 46).

The Chie Mihara’s version which is on sale at Simply Soles comes with heel height measuring 2.5 inch. Saura by Chie Mihara costs $325 and is available in US Size 5 to 12 including half sizes. Both styles would work with skirts, wide leg trousers and everything in between.

Which do you prefer? please cast your vote.

Classic Flats in Blue Leather and Light Brown Suede

Though I could do without the pointed toe, overall these are a stylish pair of flats and the combination of blue leather and light brown suede works very well. The white stitch detailing is what makes these ballet flats to standout. Being ballet flats, they’re obviously suited to workdays and casual weekends; and best of all, they’re now €48.00 down from €96.00 at Swanky Italy.

Blue Suede Leather High Heel Mary Jane Pump

Myself included, as any fashionista with large size feet would tell you it’s always a dream come through to see catwalk inspired design been made available for the large feet ladies. I feel that these blue suede leather pump with straps sitting away from the neck of the feet is catwalk inspired.

Secondly Mary Jane shoes if not carefully designed can be a reminiscent of a little girl’s shoe. And one way around such problem would be to add high heel and platform heel in a contrast colour and huge buckle straps big enough to make a statement.

That’s what Ghigo have done with these blue suede leather pump. I love the overall look of these shoes. Though I’m so sad that I’m unable to get hold of a pair in UK Size 12 for myself. But I’m more than happy to share my big feet love your my fellow large feet ladies. if you have given these shoes the thumbs up just like I have done, then they’re yours for 130 euros at GhigoCalzature.com

1980’s Pumps in Red Patent Leather

I personally could do without the white piping around the collar of these shoes, apart from the minor design glitch I would describe these one as office wear type of shoe. If you have been caught up with the 1980’s fashion revival, then you would equally like these red patent 1980’s pump. There has been 1980’s fashion inspiration throughout the summer season with the likes of leggings and graphic long t-shirts. Such attire would work with these red shoes. Better still you would pair them with floral dress in knee length.

The same style is also available in black colour, both of them are priced at 110 euros on sale at Ghigo.

Ghigo’s Lace Up Platform Pumps in Patent Leather

These lace up patent pump falls in the category of those shoes that doesn’t quite look good until they are on your feet…

From the front, it looks like there’s nothing much to the shoe, however from the side angle it looks stunning, all thanks to the thick high heels with the platform heel. In order to maximise the beauty of these shoes one would need to wear it with fall fashion such as a knee length skirt or even knitted dress with or without an opaque tight. They are going for 160 euros in sizes 31 to 45. The sole is made of leather and rubber sole with leather lining.

Oh yeah, one more thing, I would try swooping the cotton shoe lace with a satin lace in black or greyish black just to spice it up a bit. What do you think?

Molly Printed Platform Peep Toes by J Crew

You may not like the odd looking bow detail on the toe vamp which is offset by black ivory dots printed silk. To me, that’s the main beauty of these peep toes. It would look so stunning when worn with a grey, black or white outfit including pink. Made of printed Italian silk with asymmetrical bow, it also has a hidden platform with heel height at over 3 inches.

Apart from the black ivory dots, I also like the pewter colour, I’m not so keen on the rustic orange and amber. All of them are available in US Sizes 5 to 12. Retail price is $250 from J Crew.
