Bright Yellow Plastic Clogs by Melissa
Yes, there are 100% rubber made out from recycled material. But it still doesn’t convince me to want to spend $78 on them. Secondly I’m not too sure of the bright yellow colour except that it could act as mood lifter on days when you down. I feel it has limited use, perhaps you could wear them whilst doing some work in the back garden. The shape of the clogs reminds me of Danish traditional footwear.
The statement making shoes by Melissa are typical of the brands to make rubber based shoes fun, bold and fashionable. If you feel that you ought to have one, you are more than welcome to visit Clementines where they are available in US Size M- 7 and XL - 11.
Pink T-Bar Platform Sandal with Bow Trim
An usual name ‘Lychee’ for a shoe that is a sure bet for this season. Decorated with contrasting stitch, bow trim, and featuring a T-bar strap and peep toes, they incorporate many trends for spring/summer. Also available in black in UK Size 10 as well, but the pink colour one is elegant without being too girlie. But I leave it up to you, for £40 from Big Shoe Boutique - I think they are worth it?
Silver Crinkle Patent Flats ‘Limit’ by Bella Vita
Even if you have problems with sweaty feet during the summer, the perforated side with a drilled hole look will ensure that your feet remains dry as possible without impacting on your style. What I like the most on these shoes has to be the huge strap buckle as it’s very stylish. But what about that perforated look? I can’t quite decide whether I like the design or not I can’t help thinking that they look a bit like someone was having fun with the drilling machine. On the whole though, I think they’re rather cute and is very suitable for the office. They’re available in narrow, medium and wide fittings priced at $114. On sale at Designer Shoes.
Brown Suede Open Toe Slingback Bootie by Kathryn Kerrigan
When bootie shoe style started, I was among those that wasn’t too keen on them because I felt that boots or botties belong to winter season just like sandals belongs to summer season. Having come across these brown suede open toe booties by Kathryn Kerrigan I am some how starting to change my mind.
I found Daffy very appealing because the heel is made of cork heel which means they are very light on the feet, I also like the srunch detail on the toe and the fold effect just below the neck of the feet. So if you feel like you are on shoe adventure just like me at the moment- I mean if you love to add this in your shoe collection, you have until the 10th July 2009 by which to place your order. They are only available on pre-order. Retail price is $199 available in US Size 36 to 46.
