Brogue inspired shoes is so hot this season as traditional inspired brogue competes with high heel lace brogue. I personally could do without the white piping around the collar of these shoes, apart from the minor design glitch I would describe these one as office wear type of shoe. If you have been caught up with the 1980’s fashion revival, then you would equally like these red patent 1980’s pump. There has been 1980’s fashion inspiration throughout the summer season with the likes of leggings and graphic long t-shirts. Such attire would work with these red shoes. Better still you would pair them with floral dress in knee length.

The wooden stacked heel at 2 inches does make these an ideal everyday shoes as you can do all the walking you want without feeling the pain and anguish that comes with wearing excessive high heels. Having said that, I don’t think I could see myself wearing them because it I wouldn’t get a good fit from it. For a casual chic look, you could wear them with dress or jean and a light blazer. The red trim does make them look somehow funky and would work well for both summer and winter.

I have looked at fashion magazines as of recent and it looks as If big thick looking shoes are in as part of the winter and autumn collection. I know that I can’t envisage such style of shoe complementing me very well, all the same I still decided to feature them because I know that they are fans of thick shoes out there. To me thick shoes looks very masculine and would look better in tailored suits whether trousers or skirts or even jeans.

It features suede trim with white stitch detailing, Velcro straps, elastic insert for a secured fit and 2.5 inches wooden heel. Overall, Gabrielle seems to have a Victorian fee but with a modern touch. If you like these, they’re $229 from Kathryn Kerrigan.

No styles of footwear is exempted from the tides of floral prints or embroidery that’s been hitting the stores this summer, just like these white and pink pump from Sagone Chaussure prove. They have scallop detail surrounding floral prints that’s very subtle, light and feminine. but not so much so that you’ll find it difficult to wear. But looking at the heel, they do look dated and old fashioned more like a dance shoe as oppose to going out shoe.

Such shoe could add a nice touch to sundresses, pencil skirts and trousers - so long as you avoid wearing them with anything else floral! If you don’t like this particular colour combination, they’re also available in plain black for €149.
