They’re simple which is the major appeal for these shoes. Though it have been described as a teal colour I could easily have called them blue. These JP Martin slingback court shoes wouldn’t be to everyone’s taste - in fact, it was the nicely done square toe vamp with the metal decoration that first caught my attention and won me over. Other than that the low heel and elastic slingback aren’t to my taste, either. In a time when everyone’s seems to be shopping for strappy platform sandals, peep toe pump and print fabric heels, I feel that these make a refreshing change - and they look pretty comfortable too. They’re 146 euro from Verdezenzero.

I couldn’t be easily persuaded to love these black and white August Pump by California Magdesian. But there’s no doubt that it’s a classic look and I feel that it would also work nicely as an office shoe. I like the fact that shape of the shoe is simple shape, whilst the brogue detailing that gives them a classic feel. The slim ankle straps also adds a touch of femininity. Patent leather and platform heels are definitely in fashion at the moment and these Barratts funky patent platform court shoe with the multi ankle straps fits in perfectly well with the trend . These shoes have Gwyneth Platrows feels to them, as she is well known for her taste in sky rocketing heels like many other celebrities. One plus factor for me has to be the price, at just £15, it makes them very affordable, though is available in UK Size 8 and 9 only.
