Knackered Leather Ankle Boot from Big Shoe Boutique
Personally, I’m at odds with ‘Apprentice’ from Big Shoe Boutique. Though the knackered ankle boots would work wonders with your favourite jeans, and could also look great teamed with a casual knit dress.
Assuming you’re looking for a pair of on-trend knackered ankle boots (with the comfort factor) to see you through the winter’s weather and styles, these ankle boot have really got it all. Their ‘rugged glamour’ is achieved through the over worn effect that appears all over especially on the vamp and at the back. This is contrasted against double straps with buckles trims.
The ankle boots only available in UK Size 8 and 9 are new for 2009, and cost £70.00. If you could see myself quite happily living in these ankle boots, at least for the next few months, and think they would stay the course in terms of style and quality, then visit Big Shoe Boutique and pick up a pair.
Round Toe Mid Heel Motor Cross Bootie ‘Alba’ by Gwyneth Shoes
Gwyneth Shoes have just released their autumn/winter collections which includes this biker ankle style bootie available in black and tan colour. It features a chunky biker-style heel, round toe, silver hardware and mock strap. Available in US Size 6 to 15 including half sizes. Retail price for ‘Alba‘ is $130.
Ankle Collar Booties in Black by Fifi Belle
The collar detail shows off the main beauty of these ankle booties, they’re so sleek on the feet. With all the spring and summer collection currently filling up the shelves, you might be thinking that it’s somehow too late to buy into the winter ankle boots as there’s not too much of winter left to wear them though (or I hope not anyway). How about this reason “it’s a good buy”, original price was 250 euros, a swooping 70% off reducing the price down to 75 euros. I love the folded over collar detail along with the high heel. On sale at Fifi Belle in UK Size 8 to 11. Also available in brown colour though at full price.
Jessica Bennett ‘Jury’ Short Leather Boots
With temperatures reaching as low as -12 in the UK, Jury would seem to be the ideal footwear. Not only would you look fashionable when paired with cord trouser or jeans but more importantly your feet will be well shielded from the cold weather.
Jury has a military look with the brace clip detail seen around the ankle area-which os my favourite.
They’re by Jessica Bennett, and retail for $180. Comes in US Size 5.5 to 13, available in black and brown colour.
Crinkle Ankle Boots with Side Bow
These ankle boots are on sale from a German online store, I think they are perfect for the winter, as they will work well more with casual outfits. The crinkle leather effect and the buckle straps makes them very smart. I like the fact that the bow straps are fairly restrained. These are €99, so if you like them, now is the time to buy them! Available in Euro Size 43 to 46 from Schuh Kauffmann.
Custom Made Flat Leather Ankle Boots in Olive and Kiwi Colour
These flat ankle boots from Selve are not only stunning given the usual and unique colour, but they’re prefect for the winter season for those looking to take a break from black coloured boots. Henny is a nice pair of dressy ankle boots and is not suited for everyday wear.
The colour contrast of olive and kiwi makes them very fashionable, the ankle tie allows for a more perfect fit and the collar cuff is so stylish.
You can get a pair of Henny custom made to your taste starting from £350 in UK Size 1 to 11 at Selve.
